A legal disclaimer

The Client is responsible for obtaining consent from all participants being photographed during the Photoshoot and must indemnify the Photographer against any claims arising from lack of consent of the participants.

 

photographer retains the full copyright to all images taken, in perpetuity, throughout the world, unless a full copyright transfer is agreed upon in writing.

 

 the client is allowed to do with the images (e.g., personal use only, social media, non-commercial, etc.). Unless previously agreed.

Written agreement will be necessary, to prevent legal action.

 

When necessary, personal, medical, and financial data is collected only for providing care services, this will be agreed upon prior.

 

confidentiality will be maintained, but will be broken if necessary to protect the service user or others from serious harm, or if required by law.

 

clients have the right to request a copy of, correct, or erase their personal data. 

 

 

The provider is not responsible for services, advice, or products provided by third-party contractors (e.g., private doctors, therapists, cleaners).

 

I am not liable for loss or damage to personal items, money, or valuables unless directly caused by staff negligence.

Privacy Policy - the basics

Respect for privacy and compliance with relevant laws, such as the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, are fundamental requirements in adult social care. These legal and ethical obligations ensure that individuals are treated with dignity and that their personal, sensitive, and confidential information is protected.

 

If photographing individuals under 18, obtain full written parental or guardian consent.

 

Privacy and confidentiality is always my top priority regardless of which service you are using.
